MAC - THOROUGHBRED GELDING
LOT NUMBER: 5
HEIGHT 17.3h (NOT MEASURED)
DESCRIPTION (as provided by vendor)
Purchased couple months ago. He is very green. He is 10, but seems to think he is a 3yr old on the track still.
Did little buck and reared few times on 3rd ride. Was purchased as easy going trail horse. He is a long way from this day currently. Needs a lot of re-education. I have completely lost my nerves with him. I can’t go near him with out fear kicking in. I have worked with a trainer and we just can’t work as a team. A very experienced new owner could take him much further. He can jump, height jumped previously- unknown. He is very spooky and again this has set me backwards terribly. He has a good side in there, he needs the right home who can work with him. From footage obtained while purchasing he has been out in groups and jumping logs etc.
He has been fine for the staff at agistment with handling, I am more to blame than him.
I have put a lot of weight back on him, so is in a good paddock condition. Can be bossy around his food. Can be bossy and needs manners and boundaries taught by someone who isn’t scared of him now. Can be alone or in company in paddock.
I did manage to wash him on cross ties early on the journey. Easy enough to catch, great for farrier, dentist etc he is all up to date in my care. Can be tied up but gets nervous. Easy to pick his hooves. Enjoys a brush. Rugs easy enough to take on and off, comes with many for all seasons.
I was sold the wrong horse, so this is mainly not his fault. I am returning to horses after almost 2 decades. He has a scar on rear right leg, was only a flesh wound with previous owner from taking big chunk of flesh off on fence.
He has KWH 17/1 branding.
Beautiful looking bay horse. Big solid Thoroughbred.
