Peter is a very hard sale for
 his family. We love this little guy who has taken our beginner daughter and helped her to become an amazing little rider. In saying that he is not a beginners pony and would best suit a young rider wanting a strong dressage mount to further their own education.
 Peter has beautiful movement in all 3 paces. He has had extensive dressage and showing experience with his previous owner and has been competed in low level pony club dressage and show jumping with our family. He prefers to head out on trails with other pony
 friends, and has also been swum in dams and water crossings. Although Peter’s greatest strength is in his dressage training, he has been jumped to 65cm. He doesn’t always love to jump but is obliging when you ask him to. He has a canter to die for, riding
 more like a big horse than a pony. Peter has had some lateral education and can shoulder in, leg yield, travers and single flying change. Peter does need to be rugged and also needs a good feeding regime. He can suffer from separation anxiety and does better
 with a paddock mate. Good to worm, shoe and float. This pony’s quirks (separation anxiety) are far outweighed by his loving personality and work ethic. He develops a strong bond with his rider/handler and will a pony we miss dearly.
